Critical Thinking.

Through repeatedly trying to solve algorithms, I have come to love the process of problem-solving. It also made me think deeper about problems and I often try my best to to find and implement the best solution available. But sometime I realize some problemes are beyond my ability and so I talk to those advanced in the field to help.

Friendly Designing

Regardless of the fact of how designing of an app might be, I have come to learn that sometimes, FUNCTION is greater than DESIGN. This has helped me to build moderately aesthetic site but also allowing them to be accessible and friendly to most users. I am not Perfect.

People-Person.

I love people. Good People. I enjoy having chats with fellow humans and honestly listening to them, learning from them and giving my 2cents when needed. In a Group, I wouldnt say I would be the most Liked, but I would be one of the most approachable

TECH STACK

HTML

HTML happens to be one of my favorite things to write. Learning and using HTML made it even more interestiong, allowing us to build even better accessible sites. I have been writing HTML for over 2 years now.

CSS

Since I was 7, I always wanted to be an artist and feel creative, but still felt I wasn't so good at drawing. When I clocked 20 years old and saw the magic I could do with CSS, I felt a rush of hope, I realized I could build and design things people would love visually and enjoy using

JAVASCRIPT

To be honest, I disliked Javascript when I began. But along the way, I realized how powerful it makes me(us). The first time I displayed my users' current time with JS, I felt like a pro hacker and realizing that is the least of things I can do makes me excited about what I can accomplish with Javascript.

REACT

Writing HTML is fun, but sometimes you have to write components multiple times. This is where REACT.JS comes to the rescue. Learning react has made me able to build reusable and even more powerful components, it has also aided me to build really fast web apps that make life easier for me and the users.

React Todo App

To better my react skills and learn more, my mentor advised me to build a todo app that would take users tasks and also save them. I integrated firebase's firestore and authentication to save new users and display their saved tasks whenever they visit - This made me learn a whole lot about how react and firebase works!

Tayo Aina

Working with Mr. Tayo. I built possibly one of the most minimal site I have ever made. It showcased his craft clearly to every first time visitor and allowed them contact him easy!

MR. Shane is a Full Stack Technologist, so you can imagine the joy when he hired me to work for him. The site hightlight all his goodies. TIP: Mr. Shane is also my mentor and Boss.

UNSPLASH API

Over one weekend I learned to make request to Unsplash's API, I then made a small web application that allows you search for images and it returns results in form of images from Unsplash! Was my first time using the fetch API

A DICTIONARY

I stored some couple of words on Firebase (firestore), and using my JS skills, I made a web app that fetched a word and it meaning and displayed it using html and css. This project made me more proficient and familiar with FIREBASE.

WATCHING THE ISS

The international Space Station (ISS) orbits the earts at least 17 times a day, as it goes through, it sends it real-time cordinates and other useful data back to a database here on earth, I then used the FETCH API to fetch it current position on earth's orbit then using leaflet I plot out exactly where it is in earth's orbit on a map! I enjoyed doing this one.
